Mission, Covenant, and
Strategic Focus
Mission:
The
Saint Louis University School of Public Health is dedicated to the
discovery,
translation, and
dissemination of public
health
knowledge to improve the
health and well being
of all.
The Covenant:
Click here to review The Covenant.
The Covenant is unique to the School of Public Health. It is a
statement of values that guides the activities of the School and
it is hoped students take these values with them when they enter
the world of practice. The attitudes, aspirations and principles
reflected in the Covenant were drafted in 1987 by a diverse group
of students, faculty and staff within the School of Public Health
community.
Strategic Focus: Translation and
Dissemination
The gap between the
generation of public health knowledge through research and its
application in community and clinical settings remains large. Too
often, the products of research do not get translated or
disseminated for use where they are likely to have positive
impacts. Click here for more about
Translation and Dissemination.
