Community Benefit
The School of Public Health is initiating a major effort to promote dialog and foster education regarding Community Benefit. A national conference was convened last July with the goal of 1) bringing the tools of evidence-based health care management to bear on the practice of community benefit, and 2) identifying the key questions to be addressed during the next three years to forward community benefit practice. Public Health Speaker Series
Significant disparities in infant mortality, heart disease, sexually transmitted disease, among others exist in our community. Why do they exist? How do they impact us all? How can we address them?
