Mr.
Clements is the Associate Director of the Center for the Study
of Bioterrorism and Emerging Infections at Saint Louis University
School of Public Health. He also serves as an Instructor in the
Division of Environmental and Occupational Health at Saint Louis
University. In addition to a Master of Public Health degree from
Saint Louis University, he hold undergraduate degrees in Business
Administration, Bioenvironmental Engineering, and Disaster Preparedness.
Mr. Clements has served over eighteen years in the Air Force and
Air National Guard. He continues to serve as a Public Health Officer
with the Missouri Air National Guard. Much of his military experience
has included a role in the development and instruction of training
courses including "Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Warfare
Defense" and "The Medical Management of Nuclear, Biological,
and Chemical Casualties". In addition, he has worked with
BJC HealthCare in St. Louis, Missouri in the development of a
variety of healthcare worker training programs as well as policies
and procedures on infectious disease issues including HIV, Hepatitis,
Tuberculosis, Meningitis, and Emerging Pathogens. In his current
position with the Center for the Study of Bioterrorism and Emerging
Infections at Saint Louis University School of Public Health,
he is responsible for the development of bioterrorism training
and quick reference materials for the healthcare and public health
workers.
