Dr.
Bustillos teaches Ethical Issues in Public Health. He is an
Assistant Professor of Health Care Ethics at SLU’s Center
for Health Care Ethics. His research interests are broad though
lately he’s been studying health disparities in health
care and research. He is currently working on a multi-million
dollar project based at Baylor College of Medicine to eliminate
disparities in clinical trials. Dr. Bustillos has taught Environmental
Ethics as well as other courses related to public health and
policy. Having recently joined the faculty at the Center for
Health Care Ethics, Dr. Bustillos will be teaching courses in
bioethics and the humanities to the Center’s PhD students.
