Hilda
Chaski Adams, MPH, is a public health practitioner with over 30
years of experience in local and state health departments in Delaware,
Massachusetts, Connecticut, Oregon and Missouri. Her areas of
expertise are in epidemiology, environmental health, disease surveillance,
outbreak investigation and emergency preparedness and response.
Currently, Hilda is working for the St Louis Regional Response
System within the East West Gateway Council of Governments over
seeing implementation of a syndromic surveillance system. Gateway
ESSENCE will be used by the region's local public health departments
and hospitals to detect natural and man-made disease outbreaks
in our bi-state region and manage patient loads.
Hilda has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Manhattanville
College, Purchase NY and a Masters in Public Health with distinction
from Yale University in New Haven CT.
