Dr. Simon is an adjunct faculty member and has been providing an assistance in facilitating the " Crisis Leadership Course" with Dr. Jim Romeis for the last three years.He has a MA in Management and a BA in Business Administration from Webster University. He is currently enrolled in the "Executive Leadership
Program", Center for Homeland Defense and Security, Naval Postgraduate School, Monterrey, CA., expected graduation February 2008. He is also a graduate of the 193rd session of the FBI National Academy and currently the Director of Public Safety and Emergency Management for St. Louis University.

Dr. Simon was recently the Director of Public Safety for the City of St. Louis from November 2002 thru September 2007. He is also an emeritus board member for the St. Louis Regional Response System, East West Gateway Coordinating Council for Government. He retired in 2001 as a Lieutenant with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department holding several command level positions.
