In
addition to teaching courses in health care organization.
Professor Romeis is the Co-Founder and Co-Director of the
International Center for Advances in Health Systems
Management. He also is the Director, Comparative Aging and
Health Status Laboratory. His primary research interests
are incorporating genetic factors in models of health
services utilization. The National Institute on Aging
sponsors this work. An additional research area is
comparative health system analysis. He is on the Editorial
Board of Medical Care and reviews for journals in health
services research, gerontology, and health administration.
He received a university 2004 Distinguished Faculty Award
from the Student Government Association for his positive
impact on students.
