The School of Public Health at Saint Louis University aspires to be a nationally recognized scholarly community that derives strength from its diversity. Guided by the Jesuit mission and our Covenant values and focused on positive change, we endeavor to shape the direction of the health system through educational innovations and scholarship. We seek an interdisciplinary approach to public health issues and integration with our University and external communities. We pursue these ends through:
  • Leadership in teaching. . .
for students seeking graduate education in community health, health administration, and health services research, and
for practicing professionals seeking advanced study;
  • Leadership in research. . .
in public health and health services, and
in areas of particular relevance to the state of Missouri and the Midwestern United States;
  • Leadership in service. . .
to promote the health of communities in the St. Louis metropolitan area and the state of Missouri, and to enhance the public health and health services professions.
